With the trade show calendar in full swing – in the USA Loupe (Labelexpo) having just concluded and Printing United starting; October will see the huge All in Print China event in Shanghai. This show is held in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf – organisers of Drupa, Germany in 2028.
China is an increasingly popular destination for graphic arts trade show visitors, with only 10 hours flying time to Shanghai and similar time zones – 2-3 hours difference from Australia’s Eastern seaboard and identical if you are in Perth! This compares to the 24 hour journeys to Europe and the USA and 9 to 16 hour time differences.
SCREEN will take part in All in Print China 2026, to be held in Shanghai, China from October 12th- 16th. Many other international brands will be there as well as the numerous Chinese manufacturers.
The SCREEN booth, A239 in Hall N1, will showcase the group’s total graphic technology solutions – covering everything from offset to digital printing.
Commercial and publication printing solutions
SCREEN will introduce the latest technologies in the Truepress JET 560HDX, its flagship high-speed roll-fed digital inkjet press, a new product designed to drive further innovation in printing. This model combines newly developed recirculating inkjet printheads, high-density inks that enable printing on offset coated papers without surface treatment, and a new drying mechanism that maximizes uptime.
Additionally, SCREEN will show how its inline spectrophotometers can be used to automatically generate optimal profiles for each paper type during the critical calibration required for printing.
Visitors will also be able to inspect samples output by SCREEN’s Truepress JET S320 sheet-fed (A3+) inkjet press. This system is ideal for on-demand,short run printing of many kinds.
CtP has not been forgotten, with the PlateRite 8600MIII, the latest model in SCREEN’s PlateRite 8600M series of 8-page CtP systems. The PlateRite line has already built an impressive track record, particularly in the Asia-Oceania market. SCREEN will draw on its expertise in supporting the entire print workflow from data submission to prepress and final output to showcase hybrid solutions incorporating both analog and digital presses.
Label and package printing solutions
SCREEN will be demonstrating its Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S, a UV inkjet system for labels equipped with a digital primer unit. The press delivers improved print quality and durability thanks to its proprietary new primer ink while maintaining the high operational uptime and excellent operability for which SCREEN systems are known. Also featuring extra wide-gamut inks in CMYKW and optional Orange and Blue that comply with various international health regulations.
Also demonstrated will be SREEN subsidiary, CGS ORIS colour management technologies. ORIS’ ability to ensure consistent colour reproduction across a wide range of devices makes it possible to build more efficient printing workflows and ensure colour is correct every time.
