improvedenvironmental
management
Screen’s digital printing systems have been
designed forminimal environmental impact.
For example, theTruepress Jet520 employs
high-performance inkjet heads that print with
an ink droplet size amongst the smallest in the
production inkjet web-fed press segment.As
the amount of ink required isminimized, the
ink dries even at low temperatures, limiting
mediadamageand significantly reducingpower
consumption.
When theTruepress Jet520 is compared to
a conventional offset press, the difference is
clear. In addition to reducing the time required
for colormatching and registration, plates and
processors areno longer required – resulting in
eco-friendly and economical operation.
