 Trueflow SE is a fully automated prepress production workflow and JDF enabled. It features standard file checking, OPI support, trapping and imposition and other prepress functions. Trueflow SE is designed both to drive optimised computer-to-plate (CtP) production and digital printing presses, and to provide an advanced automated and streamlined workflow environment. Trueflow SE is fully JDF-compliant PDF workflow which enables existing users to move easily from a PDF and PostScript workflow into a JDF-based environment and achieve seamless communication with Management Information Systems (MIS).

Scalable workflow for CTP and print production with JDF
Trueflow SE is the core of Screen’s latest innovative JDF-based business solution, which drives automation in a print related environment and enables two-way communication in a JDF environment.
Featuring JDF-based job tickets, Trueflow SE provides process automation throughout the production process, from job data receipt and preflight to automated prepress functionalities i.e. trapping, imposition, PDF RIP’ing, and the output of print-job files for proofers, imagesetters, and platesetters. With the aid of a JDF-enabled MIS, it can even drive JDF enabled printing presses and post-press equipment. Trueflow SE can generate JDF automatic processing job tickets based on information from a JDF-enabled MIS job ordering system, and feed job status and processing results back to the MIS.
